Developing Emotional Intelligence

From my coaching, I find the real glass ceiling for my clients is the lack of key emotional intelligence (Ei) practices that will allow them to forge and strengthen the relationships that are in their best interest over time.

With few exceptions, prioritizing knowledge and talent over relationship savvy will only get you so far. Those who cultivate emotional intelligence and social skill are the ones most likely to "break through" to achieving the goals that have thus far eluded them.

Developing Emotional Intelligence will begin by providing an overview of the successful models of Ei, but move beyond mere knowledge to experiential exercises that enhance self-awareness and support an overall emotional strategy.

Starting with techniques to change your relationship with yourself, you'll change your relationship with everyone and everything else... for the better.

Feeling Great at Work
Feeling great at work depends on self-leadership, and viewing the day's challenges and contrasts from a solution-based, growth mindset. It means making choices that that are in our highest, best interest over time.

It means making the most of our work relationships—even the difficult ones. It means respecting and appreciating the diversity of opinion, skill, and communication styles in the people around us.

It means engaging in our work with a meaningful purpose in mind.

We'll cover all of this and more in this two-day workshop.

Managing Chaos

This workshop/coaching session seeks to improve business performance and job satisfaction by assisting organizations and individuals with rapid and often unexpected change.

By empowering learners with an appropriate range of tools and approaches for handling stress and uncomfortable emotions, the difficulty of change is reduced, and the individual can adjust with flexibility, creativity, resilience and empowerment.

Managing Chaos employs a combination of psychological/philosophical insight, with practical management approaches to making sense of complex change and “many moving parts.”
